Settings
Every part of Settings, one by one. What is in it and when you need it.
Settings has two groups. Your account applies to your whole account. Shop applies to one shop only. You pick that shop in the field above the group.
When you change something, the bar Changes not saved appears at the bottom. Click Save.
Profile
Here you change your name and set a password. Your email comes from Shopify and cannot be changed here.
- Click Set a password.
- Type the new password in New password and again in Confirm password. It needs at least 8 characters.
- Click Save profile.
Already have a password? Click Change password. Enter the Current password, then the new password twice, and click Save profile. Do not remember the current one? Sign out, and on the sign-in page click Forgot password?. You get a link for a new password by email.
Two-step sign-in
When it is on, we ask for one more code after your password or email code. That code comes from an app on your phone, for example Google Authenticator. When you open the app from Shopify, we do not ask for it.
- In the Two-step sign-in card, click Turn on. If you have a password, enter it and click Continue.
- Scan the QR code with the app on your phone. Enter the code it shows and click Confirm and turn on.
- Save the 10 backup codes. You need them if you lose your phone. You see them only this one time.
To turn it off, click Turn off and enter a code from the app or one backup code. You can turn it on or off only when you signed in with a password or an email code, not through Shopify.
Lost both your phone and your backup codes? Email us at support@sferaflow.com from your account email. Once we check the account is yours, we turn off the second step. Then you sign in with your password and can turn it on again.
Shops
Here are all the shops on your account. For each one you see if the courier is connected, if Shopify is connected, and how many parcels it has.
- Display name changes the shop name in the app. Leave it empty to follow the name in Shopify.
- You add a new shop by installing SferaFlow on it. See More than one shop.
- You remove a shop completely by uninstalling SferaFlow in that shop's Shopify admin.
Couriers and Shopify
Here is everything that connects the app to your courier and to Shopify. The cards come in this order.
- Demo mode
- Try the app without a real courier. See Demo mode.
- Couriers
- Connecting to the courier X-Express. The steps are below.
- Shopify
- Shows if all Shopify permissions are active. If not, click Reauthorize.
- When should an order show up in Fast Post?
- Right away (recommended) or Only after I mark it as paid in Shopify. See Getting started.
- Automatic fulfilment
- The switch Mark as fulfilled in Shopify. When it is on, announcing marks the order as fulfilled in Shopify and the customer gets an email.
- On the Couriers card, next to X-Express, click Connect. If it is already connected, it says Set up.
- Enter the Username and Password from your courier.
- Under How you pay for postage, pick Cash, Bank transfer or On invoice. It is in your contract with the courier.
- Click Test connection. It should say that the connection works.
- Click Save.
Good to know
- The password is not shown when you open the form again. When you change something, type it again.
- The courier form has its own Save button. The other cards are saved with the bar at the bottom.
- Shipping with another courier? At the bottom of the Couriers card, write which one and click Send. We will get back to you.
Reservation blocking
Here are the rules that stop a risky order before it goes to the courier. What each rule means is in Order checks and decisions.
- The main switch Risk checking is on turns all rules off. The blacklist still works.
- Each rule has its own switch and a number you can change.
- The box at the top estimates how many orders the rules would have stopped in the last 30 days. You see the new number after you save.
- The group Only warns has settings that never stop an order. You see them as grey text in the row in Fast Post. See What a row shows.
- In the group Shared by every rule you choose how many last digits of the phone are compared. You also choose how many hours your approval lasts, at least 1 hour, and whether a customer without a phone number is recognised by name.
When you change the rules, click Save rules.
Shipping Costs
Enter what you pay the courier. From these numbers the app works out postage, the cost of returns and your savings.
- You pay the courier … KM per delivered shipment
- The price of one delivery. The default is 9 KM.
- A return costs you … KM
- How much extra you pay when a parcel comes back. The default is 0 KM.
- You charge the customer … KM for delivery
- How much the customer pays for delivery. The default is 9.90 KM.
Changing a price does not change old parcels. Each parcel keeps the price from the moment you announced it.
Printing
Here you pick the label size: Thermal 80 mm, Thermal 102 mm, A4 — 3 labels or A4 — 6 labels. Click a format, then Save. More in Label size.
Plan & Billing
Here you see your plan and how many parcels you used this month. The Change plan button opens the page with plans. See Plans and billing.
